Pastor Janet, who lives in Millersburg, is a retired special education teacher, and is also the pastor of Bigelow UMC near Big Prairie.

She spent most of her life in Ohio since her birth and graduated from Madison High School. Following 12 years in Kentucky while raising her family, she returned to Ohio in 1993 and was able to complete her education. Until her recent retirement, Janet was a licensed special education teacher in pre-school setting since 2003.

Pastor Janet explains her desire to enter ministry is based in obedience to God’s call on her life. God has given her the desire of her heart and ministry is an “extension of my commitment to Him.” She wants to share the good news she has found in the freedom in Christ and formalized ministry in the local church provides such an opportunity.
